Organized by Coreyne Woodman Holoubek and Laura Gmeinder

DISRUPT is a movement designed to ENERGIZE, INSPIRE and CHALLENGE executives, business leaders, community change agents and professionals in the field of Human Resources. Basically everyone and anyone who WORKS. Our mission is to move the dialog forward and empower you to take ACTION to CHANGE the world of work.

DISRUPT is a night of thought-provoking talks from experts and professionals who want to share their ideas on how we can move our talent thinking forward. Each speaker has 5 minutes, 20 slides rotating at 15 seconds each to blow your mind! Part entertainment, part education it's a movement that will really move you to action.

Our vision is to be a catalyst for change and incubator for thought leadership for all things work.  Our focus is three fold: to inspire employees to do meaningful work, to create thought leaders onstage and off and give like-minded professionals a community to connect and build mutually beneficial relationships.

Our mission is to create thriving workplaces and happy, productive employees. We do that by creating a diverse community, who passion for what’s possible in the work place is their connector. We will host intimate event experiences with a focus on growing our community, supported by like-minded individuals and businesses. We will champion our sponsors and speakers before, during and after our events committed to their success, however that is defined.

Culture Community

The Alliance Disrupt: Engaging Thought Leaders

"I got so much out of co-creating with Laura and Coreyne on the DistruptMKE inaugural event. Throughout the process, I felt hosted and guided to contribute in meaningful ways where that helped me (and our programming!) shine. The quality of the production was top notch and I see them as leaders in the industry when it comes to HR/Production: from the trusted and well equipped AV onsite team and equipment, to the delicious appetizers, to the creative and social event space that helped others focus on the community as well as the content. I had a blast presenting my Disrupt talk, which was a new format for me. Laura and Coreyne made me feel in the know at all times - from what to expect to enjoying the atmosphere and being a part of the electric atmosphere the day of the event. I've also met other speakers I am still in collaboration with today. There was also optional professional head shots that were offered which I couldn't pass up! I highly recommend the dynamic duo of Laura and Coryene - their style is fluid, warm, empowering and fun while producing top notch meaningful and engaging events and productions. I would do it again in a heartbeat (and hope to someday soon!)
Rachael O'Meara, Author of Pause, Googler, Speaker & Coach

"Disrupt Madison was a fun and exhilarating event! The presentations were well orchestrated and engaging, and the fast pace made it particularly exciting.  I left feeling energized and excited to make change in our industry."

Ashley Powell, Business Development Manager, Bendyworks

"The venue was perfect, and even though I had to get going pretty soon after the speakers were done, I actually, did more networking in those 20 minutes than I do at most week-long conferences."

Allison Gamble, Manager, HR Technology, Cuna Mutual Group

"I was especially drawn by the inclusive, forward-thinking and refreshing nature of the Disrupt Madison event (hosted in a relaxed and creative setting). Tapping the generous spirit of the diverse, impassioned professionals sharing their ideas and discoveries on the future of talent and the world of work – I left energized and recommitted to lead and collaborate from a place of service. A BIG THANKS to the event co-organizers, Coreyne Woodman-Holoubek and Laura Gmeinder, for so graciously holding the space for us!"

Hollie Hollister, Founder and Owner of H Cubed Group, LLC

"Being part of Disrupt Madison helped us think through how we want to be a positive “disruption” in the world of health care. The Disrupt Madison team did an excellent job of delivering value for our sponsorship through cross-promotion and social media. They coached us on speaking effectively to their audience so we got the greatest benefit from our sponsorship. Afterward, they provided insights into what makes the Disrupt events successful so we could apply those tactics in our own marketing. It was definitely a rewarding partnership!"

Cheryl DeMars, President & CEO, The Alliance

"We are proud to once again be a sponsor for Disrupt Madison.  Cornerstone was so impressed with the 2016 inaugural event that we were eager to renew our commitment. Sponsorship is definitely a win-win;  the event provides high value to our clients/prospective clients. The evening is professionally crafted and a community is created that encourages connections; it's a unique and cutting edge event. We also found value in the time to connect, before and after the event, and enjoyed hearing dynamic stories across multiple industries from people who are passionate about all things work."

Jake Brennan, Regional Sales Manager, Cornerstone
