I love Independence Day: fireworks, family and freedom. I feel blessed to live in the great U.S.A., a country where we are truly free, and I am so appreciative of all of those who have done so much to ensure our freedom.
But are we free? Do we live our lives in a way that make us feel free?
In so many ways we let our fears hold us captive, keeping us from the life we want to lead. This 4th, I'm thinking about what it means to be truly free.
Do you need to free yourself from:
…a job you hate?
…a toxic friendship?
..the opinions of others?
..the mindset that you don’t deserve love?
We all struggle sometimes.
When you are not free to be yourself you live life as a captive to the version of you that you think you need to be, not who you are. When this happens you find yourself in the wrong job, a harmful relationship, second guessing yourself or worse. The less you live your life in a way that's true to who you are, the more likely you are unsatisfied with your life. You feel stuck. You feel lost. Life is scary.
You are free to live your life on your terms.
You are enough!
Take time to sparkle and shine this holiday season- and always.
